While working in an installation of mx the wiki-help links will take you to the aforementioned help. If you don't find help after clicking the wiki-help link try the old help link the application. If there is help text there feel free to copy it over to the wiki, its permanent home! We are planning that the old help link will will ultimately be revamped for project-specific help for those who want to customize comments to project members.

Contact us / mailing list

The preferred method of contact the mx community with general questions is via the low traffic mailing list.

Required browser

mx REQUIRES Firefox 3 or higher. We make no promises with any other browser, though Safari and Opera should work relatively well. Unfortunately it is very likely that you will see rendering errors using Internet Explorer (any version).

FAQ

A FAQ is available. Feel free to ask your questions there.

Application help

Context sensitive help is available by clicking on the wiki-help link. All the existing application help categories are summarized on this page. Users are encouraged to modify the wiki help pages with questions, or actual help/insights.

Guides

Matrices

 • Thanks to Johan Lijleblad there is a now a basic guide to working with matrices available that helps users start using the matrix-related functions of mx. That guide was originally written for a specific project, but we've translated it to a more generally applicable set of help that is now available on this wiki. The alpha version, including all of Johan's figures or replica's there of is now completely loaded to the wiki. This guide is somewhat outdated at this point.
