Labs and Organizations
This is list of the major project who have made significant use of mx.
- The Hymenoptera Anatomy Ontology (HAO)
- Includes the publicly accessible glossary
- NSF funded ABI
- The North Carolina State Insect Museum
- Inventory, specimen handling (coming 2010)
- The Wharton Lab
- Lab images, matrices, taxon pages, references, taxonomic catalogs, host-parasite databases
- diapriid.org, PEET Ichneumonoidea
- Andy Deans Lab
- Comprehensive data handling for a broad range of systematics related data
- John Heraty's Lab

- The American Entomological Institute
- Keys, news, image management.
- Evanioidea Online
- Taxonomic catalog for all of Evanioidea, keys, taxon pages, specimens.
- The HISL Lab
- Taxonomic catalog for all xyleborine species (Curculionidae: Scolytinae). This relational database currently contains all 1,288 valid taxa and 469 synonyms, 5,000 locality and host entries and 19,000 citations. It surpasses the bounded catalog (Wood & Bright 1992) with the integration of bibliographical information for each taxonomic entry. Full references are given for 97% of the citations. It is easily updated, revised and accessible to those interested in scolytine taxonomy, pest species, and biodiversity studies.
- A literature database of scolytine of approximately 27,000 references spanning the 1700?s to 2000. This database includes most of the literature contained in Wood (1987), Wood & Bright (1992), and Bright & Skidmore (1997, 2002).
- Electronic Monograph of Camptocerus. ~200 images, ~60 characters, label data for ~100 specimens, ~100 references, and a key to four species. Upon completion the monograph will address 45 OTUs, contain label data for ~500 specimens and display ~32 species pages. Approximate data of completion January 1, 2010.
- Matt Wallace and Lew Dietz
- Multi-entry key for Leafhoppers. Taxonomic catalog.
- Brian Wiegman Lab (Isaac Winkler)
- Systematics of Empididae
- François Michonneau
